He was once married to Magerita La Llorona, but she later divorce him because of his habit of serenading young women and braiding their hair. They only had one son, Miguel. He does try to win Magerita back and wants to be a better father for Miguel, but when he gets close, he resorts back to his old ways. He not really bad, just keep making bad decisions.
