Background: Used to be a patient in an insane asylum because of her obsession with gaining immortality. Armadeus(Thatch's Father) visited her one night and promised her to give her what she wanted if she agrees to be his wife. Kasha accepted Armadeus's offer and allowed him to turn her into a vampire. After Armadeus broke her out of the asylum, they went to his ancestral home to meet his clan. No one else wasn't sure about Kasha, but one who was truly suspicious about her was Vespa(Armadeus's sister). After many convincing, Armadeus and Kasha got married, however, one may think that Kasha would be happy that she got what she wanted, but we were wrong. Kasha, wanted more. So she took over as matriarch of Armadeus's clan and became very demanding. She started ordering people around and punishing those who questioned her. Kasha wasn't happy just being a vampire and a wife, she wants to be a true immortal. A beautiful and powerful being. A God. To rule all. She also want to sire children to carry her legacy. She tried to do so with Cecilia and Catcher, but they were proven too stubborn (and too strong) for her cause. She picked because he was the weakest and the most gullible of her children, and if he fails her, there was always Thistle as her back-up. Of course, there is a prophecy, if any of her children bare at least one child, whether it is full vampire or half vampire, Kasha will be destroyed. Out of fear, Kasha exiled Cecilia and Catcher, have Thatch's first true love to be killed (this was way before Amanda), and have Thistle hidden away. Kesha also took Thatch's heart by some kind of spell so that he won't have any feelings other than hatred for humans. She twisted his mind and darkened his soul and suppressed any other powers he might get when he gets older so that he can be easy to control. Kasha filled Thatch's head with lies about she favored his other siblings and the death of Cecilia and Catcher so that he can keep on trying to be the best, the most powerful, and the scariest creature ever so that Kibosh will make him king of the Underworld. Through Thatch, Kasha will control both the Underworld and the Human world. Poor Amadeus just stood on the sidelines, wishing that he had listened to his sister's warning. Kasha is the reason why Thatch is the way he is.
